First Period

Right off the bat we’re talking about how COLD it is. Yes, Canada is cold, Mr. Announcer. Quit acting so freaking mystified/astounded with this relevation.

LABRIE drops the gloves with Wathier (SP). He wades in with a couple of fights and then they both grab for jersey. Wathier gets a couple of tags and then they decide to hug it out. Boring tilt. I’d probably give it to Wathier as he got more punches in.

Good open ended play so far with the Moose, almost a continuation of the Finland/Sweden game from earlier. Going to suck when things slow down for the Canucks game.

The Moose are looking to wrap up their 2 game homestand against the Lake Erie Monsters with another victory, after Cory Schneider shut out the Monsters last night 1-0. Guillame Desbiens had the lone marker in what was my first Manitoba Moose game of the season. I’m still getting a handle on the Moose, so I’m just going to do some pseudo live-blogging for the next few games. That said, here’s my thoughts on tonight’s game!

I used to follow the Manitoba Moose rather heavily in past seasons, but got away from that recently. That changes now. Unfortunately, since the Canucks game and Moose game overlapped a bit, I didn’t get to pay full attention to the third as I wanted to. That said, here’s some observations and comments about the Moose. I’ll try to place emphasis on Canucks prospects and will hopefully have things more in-depth for tomorrow.
